Emissions reduction targets for De Graafstroom approved by Science Based Targets Initiative

De Graafstroom dairy factory has joined the Science Based Targets Initiative. In doing so, De Graafstroom has committed itself to scientifically based climate targets, based on the Paris Climate Agreement.

The Science Based Targets Initiative is a collaboration between the CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, the World Resources Institute, and the World Wide Fund for Nature. De Graafstroom is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in scope 1 and 2 by 42% in 2030 (base year: 2022). In addition, De Graafstroom has further refined its sustainability program to achieve the targeted reductions in scope 3 in 2030.
