Cornella van den Berg Treur

“Being a farmer was a conscious choice for me, a life close to nature with responsibility for the land and the animals.”

My name is Cornella van den Berg-Treur, and I am a farmer in Almkerk, Brabant. In 2019, I took over the dairy farm from my father, continuing a wonderful family tradition. We keep around 70 dairy cows on our farm, and every day I work passionately to care for the animals and keep the business running.

Being a farmer was a conscious choice for me—a life close to nature, with responsibility for the land and the animals. In 2010, we decided to join the DeltaMilk cooperative, and I am still very happy with that decision. For me, DeltaMilk’s strength lies in the short lines of communication with the cheese factory and the personal involvement of the board, management, and members.

What connects us as members is a shared goal: to supply good milk and process it into the very best cheese. That cooperation and shared vision give me energy and confidence in the future of our profession.
