STURDY, ROBUST, PREMIUM-QUALITY CHEESE

“De Bonck van Blesckens”, or simply “De Bonck” for short, is a sturdy, robust, premium-quality cheese from Bleskensgraaf inspired by age-old traditional methods. De Bonck was specially developed by our cheesemakers for real connoisseurs, who are only satisfied with the best quality. And it is precisely cheese connoisseurs who acclaim De Bonck so highly and praise its extra creamy, strong, rich taste.

Our cheesemakers fill the vats for De Bonck to the brim. This results in a large cheese weighing about 15 kilos – 3 kg heavier than an ordinary Gouda cheese – and allows the unique strong, creamy flavour of De Bonck to develop optimally. De Bonck is left to mature naturally under carefully-controlled temperature and humidity conditions. The consistent high quality is obtained through continuous production.

Just as in earlier times, the De Bonck logo is indelibly branded into the cheese to prove its origin and authenticity. De Bonck van Blesckens cheeses are available as Mild and Creamy, Matured and Extra Matured.
